Architecture and design of the Palms Golf club facility is reminiscent of the type of architecture commonly found in the desert area. Large high reaching palm trees are spread all over. The inside of the club is designed with simplicity yet reaches a high standard of sophistication.
The Palms at La Quinta Golf Club holds a longstanding reputation for being one of the deserts unique golfing experiences. Every part of The Palms golf course was specially designed by Brian Curley and Fred Couples. This unique course is considered “core” as it contains quick, bent grassy greens, and fairways of lushness and great play. Beauty combined with challenge is what all skill level golfers will find with this desert course.
The Palms is an 18 hole golf course features a 7020 yard golfing experience with longest tees reaching par 70. This is one of the most unique courses in the entire La Quinta California community. The Golf Club facility at The Palms in La Quinta has a course rated at 74 and has a 134 slope rating. This course was opened to members and their guests in 1999 after design completion by Fred Couples and Brian Curley, ASGCA.
